Description
Vintage c1940 Rose of Sharon Quilt from Blair County PA, measuring 84×111″. It is comprised of 9 Rose of Sharon appliqué blocks, 16 by 16 inches, set on point, 3 by 3, with solid setting squares and triangles. There is a one inch solid pink inner border, followed by a 4.5 inch solid off white border, followed by a 3 inch solid pink outer border. It is machine pieced, hand appliquéd, and beautifully hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied thin solid pink binding.
Condition report:
It is in very good condition with just a few small spots and discolorations. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
