Description
Reproduction Amish Maroon and Black Quilt with Squares measures 58×74″. 4 center blocks are comprised of solid color squares, with color and value placement creating 2 different “blocks”. There are 9 patch blocks in the horizontal sashing, and single squares floating in the black out border. It is machine pieced and machine quilted. The quilt is in very good condition (minor fading) with good workmanship. This is believed to be one of Ellen’s early quilts, it is not signed or dated.
