Red Courthouse Steps with Blue Centers measures 63×71″. Ellen must have used every red fabric in her stash to create these blocks, and then the angles piano key border. The turquoise blue center would have seemed out of place if not for the same fabric in the binding. Ellen planned this quilt well! It is machine pieced and machine quilted. The quilt is in excellent condition with excellent workmanship. The quilt is believed to have been completed in 2012. Please see the About This Auction for her story!
