Description
Vintage c1940 Mother’s Favorite Quilt measuring 73 by 90 inches. It is comprised of 20 blocks, 12 by 12 inches, set straight, 4 by 5, with 5.5 inch pink sateen sashing and 5 inch pink scalloped border. It is hand appliquéd, machine pieced, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied pink binding. It is in fair condition with fading to the pink which was common for these setting fabrics, small spots, and discoloration in one corner. The workmanship in this quilt is very nice. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
