Description
Ric Rac Baskets Quilt was inspired by Star Flower Appliqué Quilt by Eliza Jane Secrest, Circa 1858, Ohio History Connection Collection, H 88127 and basket quilt in Nantes, France, from a Quiltmania picture. This measures 69×69″. Each of the pieced baskets and the inner frame has a tiny dogtooth triangle appliqued along the edges to create the Ric Rac look. It is machine pieced, machine appliqued, and machine quilted. The quilt is in excellent condition with excellent workmanship. The quilt is signed and dated 2024 by Ellen Rosenbach on the reverse.
