Description
Princess Feather Medallion Quilt in Black and Red measures 68×70″ with Ellen’s signature scallop. The center was inspired by a Highly Unusual Red and Dark Blue princess feather , CA 1870-1885 and the border was inspired by a Mary Schafer quilt at MSE Museum. Large Princess Feather in the center surrounded by stars, an undulating feather, dog tooth points, a vine of grapes, and an outer border of bow, tassels, and swags. This quilt has it all! Lots of Garibaldi Red and Black reproduction prints. It is machine pieced, machine appliqued, and machine quilted. The quilt is in excellent condition with excellent workmanship. The quilt is signed and dated 2024 by Ellen Rosenbach on a label on the reverse. ALSO on the back is a little surprise star in the center, and applipop circles on each reverse scallop.
