Description
Antique c1830 Chintz 9 Patch Quilt measuring 84 by 103 inches. It is comprised of 90 9 patch blocks, 7 by 7 inches, set on point, with alternating squares in a variety of chintz fabrics, including a pillar print, with partial block and chintz print setting triangles. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a brown print reverse. The edge is finished with a brown print applied binding along 3 sides and knife edged along the 4th side. It is in good unused condition, with many of the chintz fabrics still having its original glaze, but a few small spots. The brown print reverse does have some small deteriorate areas. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
