Late 19th and Early 20th Century Petticoats. The lot includes a group of 3 late 19th and early 20th century petticoats. Featuring a black linen petticoat with tiered black linen ruffled flounces and a brown cotton chintz waistband with hook and eye closures. Laying flat it measures: Waist: 13”, Length: 45”. It is in fair/poor condition with several holes throughout the petticoat, faded thread, and a musty odor. A sheer cotton batiste petticoat featuring vertical pin tucks at the hips, 3 pieced flounces with horizontal pin tuck accents, and missing hook and eye closures at the waist. Laying flat it measures: Waist 13”, Length: 43”. In fair condition with spots, slight toning, and a few small holes. Also included is a three quarter length linen petticoat featuring an adjustable drawstring waist, mother of pearl button closures, and a wide bottom flounce with pin tuck accents and hand embroidered inserts and trim. Laying flat it measures: Waist: 20”, Length: 29.5”. It is in fair condition with toning, spots, past repairs, and several unpicked pin tucks. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
