Description
2 19th Century Petticoats. The lot includes 2 19th century/early 2oth century petticoats. Featuring a linen petticoat with a drawstring waist and an outer lower flounce of alternating circular and floral machine lace. Laying flat it measures: Waist: 17.5”, Hip: 21”, Length 40”. It is in good condition with areas of toning. Also included is a white cotton petticoat with mother of pearl button closures at the back and a hem accented with pin tucks, cotton crochet/fillet inserts and trim. Laying flat it measures: Waist: 14”, Hips: 18”, Length: 37.5”. It is in good/fair condition with a few small repairs, faint spots, slight toning, and a missing top button.
