2 19th Century Linen Petticoats. The lot includes 2 19th century linen petticoats. Featuring a late 19th century white linen petticoat featuring a double layered bottom flounce with the top layer having alternating bands of gathered linen and floral machine lace inserts. The back of the petticoat has a fan effect and has a drawstring closure. Laying flat it measures: Waist 14”, Hips: 24”, Front Length: 41”, Back length 53”. In good/fair condition with water marks, slight toning, and a few small spots. Also included is a second 19th century linen petticoat featuring a double layered bottom flounce starting at the knee with the top layer embellished with pin tucks, and floral machine lace inserts. It has a drawstring closure and laying flat it measures: Waist 16”, Hips: 24”, Front Length: 38”, Back Length: 41.5”. The petticoat is in fair condition with discolorations, toning, and spots.
