Description
2 Beaded Black Flapper Dresses. The lot includes 2 antique 1920s black beaded flapper dresses. Featuring a sleeveless black silk chiffon sheath dress with a scoop neck, striped beading on the bodice which transforms into arched circular patterns towards the hem, and snap closures at the left shoulder. Laying flat the dress measures: Bust: 16”, Waist: 17”, Length 47”. The dress is in fair condition with wear and shattering to the chiffon at the shoulders, minor bead loss, and white discoloration at the underarms. Also included is another black beaded crepe-like flapper sheath dress featuring a round neckline, beaded side panels, beading in a brocade pattern with swagged beaded accents, and snap closures on the left shoulder. Laying flat the dress measures: Bust: 15”, Shoulders: 15”, Waist 16”, Length: 43”. It is in fair condition with bead loss, discoloration and split seams at the underarms.
