Description
2 Vintage Black Dresses. The lot includes 2 vintage black dresses. Featuring a 1930s sleeveless black acetate evening gown with beaded and rhinestone spider web motifs on the front and back, as well as a plunging V shaped back. Laying flat the dress measures: Bust: 17”, Waist: 17”, Length: 50”. It is in fair/poor condition with tarnished rhinestones, split/fraying seams, small holes, and altered straps. As well as a vintage 1940s short sleeve black dress by Franklin Simons featuring a V neckline, a fitted waist, and hand knotted 9 3/4” long scalloped tapered fringe accents on both shoulders. It has a side metal zip closure and laying flat measures: Shoulders: 20”, Bust: 18”, Waist: 15”, Length: 45”. The dress is in fair condition with a bottom hem that has been cut to make the dress shorter. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
