Description
Antique c1860 Flying Geese Quilt measuring 77 by 93 inches. A strippy bars arrangement with 5.5 inch wide Flying Geese bars with floral chintz fabric geese on an orange print background, with alternating 5.5 inch pink print alternating bars and 8.5 inch bars along the side. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the front brought to the back and applied by hand. It is in fair condition with several dark spots, toning and minor edge wear. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
