Description
Antique silk folding fan with hand-painted double-sided leaf featuring a figure surrounded by floral designs on one side and floral garlands on the reverse. Embellished with ribbon embroidery, gold spangles, and a fine chain. Carved guards and sticks showcase intricate gold inlay, with the bone guards overlaid on mother of pearl and accented by a metal loop and rhinestone rivet. Notable condition issues include a cracked guard, tears and holes in the leaf, and one rib not fully extending. Measures 8 1/2 in x 14 1/2 in. Please see the photos for details.
