Description
19th century fixed embroidered fire screen featuring a circular metal mesh surface embroidered with a floral spray made of wool and silk threads. The screen is backed with salmon-colored silk and adorned with a 2-inch long crimped silk fringe in pink and cream tones, along with cream passementerie trim. It also includes a finely detailed, carved fixed handle. Measuring approximately 8 inches by 14 inches, it is in good condition with a slightly loose handle and small crack in handle.
