Description
Vintage c1940 Dresden Plate Quilt measuring 61x 75 inches. It is comprised of 20 blocks on yellow ground, 13 by 13 inches, set straight, 4 by 5, with a 2.5 inch inner border 2 inch yellow outer border. It is machine pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and an off white reverse. The edge is finished with an applied floral print binding, by hand. It is in good condition with a few small spots and minor separation in the binding. This quilt has a wonderful variety of feed sack prints.
