Description
Vintage Aunt Martha’s State Bird and Flower Quilt Top, circa 1976, measures 75 by 88 inches. It is comprised of 50 squares, 8.5 by 8.5 inches, set on point and staggered, 5 by 6. There is 1.5 inch solid red and blue sashing. It is machine pieced and hand embroidered. It is just a quilt top with no batting backing or quilting. It is in good condition and lays flat, though the blocks are not all in the same orientation. This quilt was published, page 11, in “Quilts Presidential and Patriotic” by Sue Reich, noted author, historian, and quilt appraiser. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
