Description
Antique c1900 Ocean Waves Quilt measuring 68 by 80 inches. The Ocean Waves lozenges are 4 inches wide and surround on point squares of double blue or Lancaster blue print, with a 5.5 inch brown print border. It is hand and machine pieced, hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a brown cotton print reverse. The edge is finished with and applied double pink binding. It is in fair condition with edge wear, some fading, and other small discolorations. From the estate of Sharon Stark, noted Pennsylvania textile dealer and award winning author.
