Description
Antique c1850 Uneven 9 Patch with a wide Chintz Border, measuring 85 by 96 inches. It is comprised of 30 Uneven 9 patch blocks, set on point, 5 by 6, with a brown print alternating squares and setting triangles. There is a 1.5 inch solid white inner border and an 11 inch chintz floral stripe outer border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a printed stripe cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand, very narrow. It is in good condition with overall fading, one area of conservation, and a few small spots. Many of the brown fabrics I believe at one time were a vibrant purple. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
