Description
Antique c1840 Orange Peel Quilt believed to be from New England with bed post corner, measuring 84 by 83 inches. It is comprised of 49 blocks, 12 by 12 inches, set straight, 7 by 7. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. Off white cotton reverse with thin cotton batting. The edge is finished knife edge style, by hand. It is in good condition with several small discolorations, spots and one split in a fabric. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
