Description
Antique c1910 Basket Quilt measuring 75 by 82 inches. It is comprised of 25 basket blocks, 12 by 12 inches, set on point, 4 by 4, and staggered, with off white setting triangles. There is an outer border 3 to 4.5 inches wide. It is machine pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted in red thread. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand, also in red thread. It is in good condition with a few minor discolorations. From the estate of Sharon Stark, noted Pennsylvania textile dealer and award winning author. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
