Description
2 Late 19th Century European Tapestry Panels. The lot includes 2, 19th century long mustard velvet panels featuring appliqued 18th century possible Flemish wool tapestry fragments. The fragments feature long floral garlands sprouting from a container. The panels measure 3 yards 13” long by 15” wide and are backed in green cotton sateen. The panels are in fair/poor condition with toning, fading, areas where the appliqued tapestry has come unsewn, embroidery loss, and a few holes/tears. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
