Description
Mixed Lot of Vintage and Antique Trim and Salvage. The group includes a mix of approximately 43 pieces of both vintage and antique salvage, trimmings, seam binding, and appliques. Featuring light blue chambray embroidered floral appliques from Portugal, machine lace appliques, machine bobbin cotton trim, 5 hand crocheted trims, antique embroidered remnants, and 2 bundles of vintage seam binding. As well as vintage woven tape with button holes, machine looped cotton trim, 2 antique silk bows, several vintage pink bows with rosettes, a fragment of black machine lace, 5 bundles of antique metal gimp trim, 1 bundle of blue cotton machine eyelet trim, 1 bundle of antique silk ribbon, 2 fragments of hand embroidered eyelet, 1 antique machine eyelet skirt hem, 1 machine eyelet pillowcase trim. The group generally ranges from 9” to .5” wide and is in fair condition with age-related toning and spots on the older remnants. Please see the photos for details and condition.
