Description
Antique c1890 Radiating Star Quilt measuring 77 x 78 inches. Center star measures about 36 x36 inches. Surrounded by diamond wedges radiating around the center star, each corner has partial star units. There is a 1.25 inch red gingham/red solid inner border and a 1.5 inch Teal green outer border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the red gingham fabric applied binding. By hand. It is in fair condition with several spots and wear to border, edge wear, and wear to other fabrics in the center of the quilt. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
