Description
Antique c1880 Broken Dishes Quilt measuring 96 x 92 inches. It is comprised of 624 Half Square triangles, 3.25 x 3.25 inches, set straight, 24 by 26, with a 7 inch large-scale pink floral print cretonne border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand. It is in fair condition with 2 fabrics having some deterioration, a few spots, and the pink dye in the border is bleeding mostly on the back. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
