Description
Vintage c1960 Robin Quilt on Blanket measuring 66×83″. Comprised of 20 blocks, 12.5 by 12.5 inches, set straight, 5 by 4, with a 4 1/2 inch triple yellow and pink sashing and 9 patch cornerstones. The backing is a yellowish gold polyester blanket. It is machine pieced, hand appliquéd, hand embroidered, and hand quilted. The edge is finished on 2 sides with a satin blanket binding, and 2 sides back brought to the front. It is in fair condition with several spots, fading, and pilling to the blanket. A unique way to finish a quilt. From an Alexandria, VA collector. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
