Description
3 Small Contemporary Quilt Tops includes a Large Dot quilt top in jewel tones, 42×52″, machine pieced. A Star of Bethlehem in pink and blue prints, machine pieced, 48×48″. And a Star with Ribbon quilt top in reproduction fabric (possibly Pilgrim/Roy). 33×37. The stars have hand appliqued ribbon motifs and there is glitter paint accents. There is also prairie points within the border. All in very good condition. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer and quilt store co- owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
