3 Vintage Quilts are in poor condition. Includes a c1900 Contained Crazy Quilt with Wheel in wools , no quilting, but has a fantastic large floral print furnishing fabric reverse and velvet binding. The front is mostly wools and velvet and has significant fabric loss and holes. Also is a c1900 wool Rail Fence Quilt Top with several holes and wear. Along with a improvisationally pieced bar quilt from silks and rayons, with thick batting and Baptist Fan quilting, has fabric deterioration and holes. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer and quilt store co- owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
