2 Contemporary Quilt Tops including a Friendship Knot quilt top with a black solid ground, and hand embroidered with several names from a guild Bobbie belonged to. It measures 55×55″, hand and machine pieced. In very good condition, it has a sleeve for hanging. And Chevron Quilt Top 49×50, machine pieced, and in very good condition. Both textiles are just quilt tops with no backing, batting, or quilting. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer and quilt store co- owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
