2 Quilt Tops Presented to Bobbie Aug when she served as President of the CDC (Colorado Quilting Council). Both have a lovely machine embroidered center block. Year 2000 is black, white, and red Log Cabin and other blocks, 52×67″, many signed by CDC members. And year 2001 is in colorful batik fabrics, 68×80″. Also signed by many members. Both are in very good condition. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer and quilt store co- owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
