Group of 5 Mini Doll Quilts 1980-1991. The group includes 5 doll quilts from the Bobbie Aug collection. Featuring 1 multicolored Broken Dishes doll quilt. It is machine pieced and hand quilted and a thin poly batting. It measures 12” x 15 1/4” and is in good condition. 1 Square in a Square doll quilt made by Rhonda McDonald from Denver CO in 1992. Made in a mix of yellows, reds, oranges, and blacks. It is machine pieced and hand quilted with a leaf motif border. It measures 14.5” x 19 1/4”. It is signed by Bobbie Aug and is in good condition with a few minor spots. 1 Square in a Square doll quilt made by Marie a. Dick from Denver CO in 1989. Featuring floral and geometric patterns in browns, blues, and pinks. It is machine pieced and hand quilted with no batting. It measures 13 1/4” x 13 1/4” and has a sleeve for hanging. The piece is also signed by Bobbie Aug and is in good condition. 1 Square in a Square doll quilt made by Marie Dick from Denver, CO in 1991. It features a mix of white, pink, and blue floral print fabrics . It is machine pieced and machine quilted and measures 13 3/4” x 13.5”. It is in good condition. 1 Thousand Pyramids Charm Quilt made by Artie Dozier from Lakewood, CO in 1988. With 221 different multicolored patches with a brown floral printed border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted with a thin poly batting. It measures 17” x 21.5” and is signed by Bobby Aug. In good condition. From the Estate of Bobbie Aug. Bobbie Aug was a well known and regarded quilt historian, author, appraiser, and quilter for over a half a century. She was also an antique quilt dealer and quilt store co- owner and judge. Most notable is her work on the American Quilter’s Society Quilt Appraiser Certification Committee and her early involvement in the Professional Association of Appraisers-Quilted Textiles.
