Vintage c1940 Large Uzbek/Afghani Tribal Wall Hanging . This vintage c1940 wall hanging features a maroon cotton center surrounded by a black border with cross stitch geometric patterns and followed by a wide border of pieced blocks in a mix of dress rayons, cottons, velvets, floral printed cottons, and plain cottons in geometric blocks with followed by a thin plain border and a wider outer maroon border. The piece has 2 tabs for hanging and no backing. It measures 90.5” long by 74” wide. It is in fair condition with water marks, tears, and fraying to the pieced blocks. 1 corner tab is missing and caused a tear. Please see the photos. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
