Group of 3 Self Assembled Scrap Books For Textile Inspiration-Nautical and More. Designer Scrapbooks for Textile and Embroidery Design Inspiration 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s, Mid Century Modern for Textile Design Inspiration, Textile and Embroidery Design. The group includes 3 self assembled scrap books in a mix of themes including a book of scrolls and paisleys with approximately 60 pages of old photocopies and clippings. 1 book of nautical themes with approximately 28 pages filled with clippings. 1 book of Native American Themes with approximately 28 pages filled with clippings, postcards, and pages from books. The group is in good/fair condition with the tape holding the clippings in place from beginning to yellow. This collection was the property from a well known NYC textile and garment design archive which provided design and concept inspiration to fashion and textile designers around the world for more than 25 years.
