Description
Antique c1890 Log Cabin Quilt – Sunshine and Shadows arrangement measuring 79 by 80 inches. It is comprised of 100 blocks, 6 by 6 inches, set straight, 10 by 10, with 8 inch red print border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There appears to be no batting. It was most likely pieced on a foundation, and there is an neon print reverse with a fabric that measured 25 inches wide. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand. Nice variety of fabrics including claret, double greens, indigo, double pinks, stripes, shirtings, brown prints, and much more.
Condition report:
It is in very good condition with no issues noted. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance.
