Description
Vintage c1940 California Poppy variation Quilt, measuring 81 by 83 inches. It is comprised of 4 blocks, 33 by 34 inches, set straight, 2 x 2, with 8 inch white outer border. The appliqué motif is worked in orange and green solid fabrics. It is machine pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand.
Condition report:
It is in good condition with storage discoloration, spots, and the pencil lines for marking the quilting are evident. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple quilts for your convenience and economy.
