Description
Antique c1870 Album Block Quilt measuring 69 by 81 inches. It is comprised of 20 blocks, 10.5 by 10.5 inches, set straight, 4 by 5, with ox blood and cheddar triple sashing, horizontally 3 inches, and 3.5 inches vertically. There is a double ox blood and cheddar inner border and a 6.5 inch stripe print outer border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted in a Baptist fan motif. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the front brought to the back, applied by hand. Lots of great early fabrics.
Condition report:
It is in fair condition with several discolorations and fabric deterioration. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance.
