Reverse appliqué and appliqué mola panel with hand embroidery, depicting a Nativity scene inscribed “CRISTO NACIO,” “FELIZ NAVIDAD,” and “EN BELES” (Christ Was Born, Merry Christmas, In Bethlehem), executed in two layers of black and yellow-green cotton. The dense, fully filled composition features a central Star of Bethlehem and angel figure flanked by paired parrots, donkeys, and stylized bottle forms, with a four-petaled flower and multicolored embroidered bars throughout. Worked in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, white, and teal with zigzag embroidery detailing on the figures. Floral printed cotton binding along the lower edge.
