Reverse appliqué and appliqué mola panel with hand embroidery, depicting a narrative political scene supporting the Partido Laborista (Labor Party). The central triangular field contains an ox cart pulled by a humped zebu ox and driven by a seated figure wielding a goad, with a second ox and a small figure with a cart wheel in the upper register, all surrounded by multi-pointed stars bearing the party’s three-bar emblem. The bold block lettering “PARTIDO LABORISTA” arches across the top. Worked in three layers of cotton in red, black, and green, with extensive top-applique and hand-embroidered details in yellow, orange, green, blue, pink, and lavender. Dense sawtooth-fill stitching animates the background throughout.
