Description
Antique Mise-en-Carte – Red and Orange Flower Vase. It is 49″x46″. There is a vase holding red and orange flowers with green accents. Hand painted gouache. Pencil writing on the reverse. Believed to be French. Pattern for weaving textiles such as jacquards, brocades, and tapestries. In poor condition and fragile. Split seams, tears, small missing pieces, foxing, and brittle edges. Minor fading. These were found rolled for an extended period of time. They were relaxed with gentle humidity and mechanical means. We will ship either flat or rolled and buyer will pay actual shipping. Please contact us for a shipping estimate if needed. We will combine with other patterns when possible.
