Description
3 Antique Doll Quilts – Early 1800s. A Mountain Peak doll quilt. The blocks are from the early 1800s which form the center of the quilt. Hour glass blocks form the border. It is hand pieced and quilted with no batting. It is 17″x18″ and there is toning, spots, and some ripped areas. An Irregular Nine Patch doll quilt. It has 2 borders that were made in the early 1800s with a printed back and a small amount of hand quilting in the ditch. The madder prints were also hand pieced together. It is 18″x18″ and there are 2 small holes. A Streak of Lightning doll quilt from around 1876. There are madder prints and shirtings with a bars back. It is 17.5″x18″ and there are some spots.
