Description
2 Vintage c1960s Quilts includes a Flower Basket quilt, measures 61 by 77 inches. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. Thick cotton batting and a pale yellow reverse. It is hand quilted in a Baptist fan motif. Along with a Lemoyne Star summer spread, 55 by 67 inches. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. There is a thin flannel blanket between the top and the reverse, the quilting appears to only go through the flannel and not through to the reverse.
Condition report:
Flower Basket quilt is in poor condition with small holes, large spots, batting migration, edge wear, and fading. The star quilt is in fair condition with storage line discoloration, fading, spots, fabric deterioration, and because the backing is not quilted through it is misshapen. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $35 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
