Description
Vintage 1870-1950s Trip Around the World Quilt Measuring 85 by 86 inches. It is comprised of 2.5 inch squares with fabrics from the 1870s to 1890s. There is a 5 1/2 inch yellow and red print border from around the 1950s. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with a wide red bias tape binding. The backing, batting, binding, and quilting are believed to also be from the 1950s.
Condition report:
It is in good condition with a few small spots and a 13 inch long area of binding that needs to be replaced. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
