Description
Antique c1880 Framed Blazing Star Quilt measuring 63 by 80 inches. It is comprised of 24 pink and green on a white ground Blazing Star 6 by 6 inches with a 1.5 inch over dyed green print frame, set on point, and staggered, 3 by 8, with a 4 inch double pink sashing and square in square cornerstones, in over dyed green and double pink prints. There are partial blocks, and green frame and pink print setting triangles. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a brown leaf on beige and white dot. Ground print reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, by machine. The stars are very small scale, really nicely done. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
