Description
Antique c1880 Irish Chain Quilt with Cheddar measuring 77 by 80 inches. It is comprised of 16 25 Patch blocks, 11 by 11 inches, set on point, 4 by 4, with double pink print with solid cheddar corner squares as setting squares and triangles. There is a 9 inch double pink print border. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a beautiful Turkey red Indienne paisley and floral print reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front, by hand. Very graphic and vibrant with solid cheddar, ox blood, and Teal against that pink print ground. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
