Description
Vintage c1930 Kite Triangle Tied Comfort Quilt measures 88 by 67 inches. Comprised of 9 horizontal rows of equilateral triangles, 7 by 7 by 7 inches. Each triangle is comprised of 3 kite shapes. The triangles alternate between 3 scrappy fabrics and one floral print. While it may have been easier to construct the solid print triangle as a solid shape the quilter again used the 3 kite pieced construction. There is a 4 inch horizontal feed sack border and an 8 inch vertical feed sack border it is hand pieced and hand tied in pink and red yarn. There appears to be no batting the reverse is a pink flannel. Nice variety of feed sack prints.
