Description
Antique c1860 Eight Point Design Quilt measuring 81 by 87 inches. It is comprised of 30 pieced blocks, 9.5 by 9.5 inches, set on point, 5 by 6, with a double green print alternating squares and setting triangles. There is an 8.5 inch wide brown stripe border along 3 sides. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a brown plaid inch striped reverse. The edge is finished with a double green print applied binding, by hand. On the reverse is a fabric tag pinned to a corner stating that this quilt was part of the York Pennsylvania Quilt Documentation Project. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. It is in poor condition with spots, edge wear, and the fugitive purple is starting to split in several blocks. US Shipping $30
