Description
A collection of approximately 22 pieces of costume jewelry, predominantly brooches with a few pairs of clip-on earrings. The pieces are crafted from various base metals with gold-tone, silver-tone, black, and red finishes. The designs encompass floral and botanical motifs featuring imitation pearls and an assortment of clear, purple, blue, red, and multi-colored rhinestones/crystals, alongside novelty items such as a high-heeled shoe, a lipstick tube, an airplane, a sailboat, an anchor, and a scarecrow, some accented with enamel. Visible maker’s marks and text include “BARBARA MANDRELL” (on the high-heeled shoe brooch), “BOB MACKIE,” “DODDS,” “NOLAN KILLER,” “KJL”BROOKS,” and “MADE IN CHINA.” Some floral brooches in the collection are consistent with designs attributed to Bob Mackie.
