Description
Brown and White Star of Bethlehem with Oak Leaves. This quilt is a reproduction of a Fons and Porter quilt found online, and is constructed with two reproduction printed fabrics. There is a large brown and white Star of Bethlehem in the center flanked by oak leaf and reel squares, and surrounded by several borders including an undulating swag with oak leaves, diamonds, and an elongated sawtooth outer border. It measures 70×70″. It is machine pieced, machine appliqued and machine quilted with a white cotton reverse. The quilt is in excellent condition with excellent workmanship.
