Description
Vintage Multigenerational 1880-1940 Tied Comfort Quilt in a 4 Patch Pattern measuring 62 by 67 inches. It is comprised of 72 blocks, 7.5 by 7.5 inches, set straight, 8 by 9, with 36 4 Patch blocks and 36 alternating 1930s double pink squares. Many of the fabrics in the 4 patch blocks range from 1880 to 1900 with a couple using 1940s fabrics. There is a 3 inch pieced border along one side. It is hand pieced, and hand tied in an off white pearl cotton thread. Possibly a blanket inside as batting, and a double green print reverse. The edge is finished along 2 sides with the back brought to the front, and the other 2 sides with an applied solid green binding. It is in good condition with just a few small discolorations. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
