Description
Antique c1880 Monkey Wrench Quilt measuring 67 by 75 inches. It is comprised of 156 Monkey Wrench blocks, 3.5 by 3.5 inches, set on point, 12 by 13, with an indigo print used for alternating squares, setting triangles, and 3 to 3.5″ borders. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with a tan applied binding. It is in fair condition with one of the fabrics consistently deteriorating, edge wear, and other small discolorations. It still a very graphic quilt that reads patriotic with its red, white, and blue palette. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
